generated funds. We offer the opportunity for the community to become involved in

the fair through sponsorships.

What is a sponsorship?

A sponsorship is an opportunity to support the goals of encouraging scientific research at the junior and senior high school levels with a cash contribution and/or special award.

What are the levels of sponsorship?

• Friends of Region IV Science Fair - A Contribution of $1 up to $99 will entitle the contributor to recognition on the Region VI website.
• Bronze Atom Sponsor - A contribution of $100 up to $249 will entitle the contributor to recognition on the Region IV website with a link to the contributors homepage.
• Silver Molecule Sponsor - A contribution of $250 up to $499 will entitle the contributor to recognition on the Region IV website with a link to the contributors homepage, recognition in Science Fair program and logo on the science fair T-shirt.
• Gold Element Sponsor - A contribution of $500 up to $749 will entitle the contributor to the above recognition and will allow the contributor to give one special award either at the junior high or senior high level.
• Platinum Compound Sponsor - A contribution of $750 or more will entitle the contributor to the above recognition and will allow the contributor to give one special award at both the junior high and senior high level.

What is a special award?
A special award is an award given to a junior high or senior high student whose project best fulfills the research goals outlined by the contributor. The award itself could be a certificate or plaque or could include a savings bond or other award. The presenter is the contributor or his/her representative. An example would be a hospital giving an award for the best research in a specific area of Medicine and Health. The award could be a plaque with the contributors name and name of the award and a $25 savings bond.

Can an individual be a sponsor?
Yes.
