Due to last minute scheduling conflicts within the science fair scheduling, the date of this year's Region IV Science Fair has been changed to Saturday, March 4.  Early set-up will occur on Friday, March 3.  The deadline for late submission is Friday, February 24.

Welcome to the Region IV 2016 Science & Engineering Fair

This year’s fair will be held in the Evacuation Center adjacent to the campus of LSU of Alexandria on Saturday, March 4, 2017(For directions click here.) The Louisiana Region IV Science and Engineering Fair is dedicated to the promotion of science exploration and experimentation in students attending middle school and high school. The Region IV Science Fair is affiliated with the Louisiana Science and Engineering Fair (LSU-Baton Rouge) and the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). Winners from the regional fair progress on to state and international competition.

Region IV serves public, private and home schools in a 9-parish area: Rapides, Avoyelles, Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Sabine, Vernon, Catahoula,  and Concordia

Sponsors and Volunteers are needed!

Sponsors are needed for the fair; click on the sponsor link for details. Funds generated through the support of sponsors and through registration fees and t-shirt sales are used to purchase such items as mail-outs, judging materials, and awards for students. These funds also pay for the winner of the "Best of Senior Division" (and a parent) to attend the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
